The craft roastery was born from a desire to drink something other than burned, bitter coffee.
I started roasting in a hot air popcorn popper and after burning out four poppers, my wife Heidi bought me a half pound table top roaster.
I fine tuned my process and started giving coffee away to family and friends. Imagine my surprise when people started asking if they could pay for it!
As head roaster I continue to hone what I consider the art and craft of roasting coffee - creating rich, deep, flavorful brews without bitterness and bite.
I now roast with a hand built, American made, Diedrich Roaster which allows me to vary the roasting profiles and ensure the finest coffee.
